Our stitching is used to create our signature texture and add visual excitement to our work, it is strong but not intended to hold our pieces together. We use traditional jewelry-making techniques such as soldering to secure our pieces. Every piece is made with thoughtful attention to detail and durability to wear and love for years to come. Holiday Shipping Deadlines for 2024
To ensure delivery by Christmas (December 25) and the first night of Hanukkah (December 25), here are the key cut-off dates for UPS and USPS shipping:
It’s best to plan ahead, especially for longer distances or higher volumes during peak shipping times to ensure your packages arrive on time.
When you view an item, you’ll see its estimated shipping date. For in-stock items, we ship within 1–2 business days. If an item is made-to-order, we work diligently to ship it as soon as possible, often before the estimated date. Once your order is on its way, we’ll send a notification along with a tracking number.
Need it sooner? Contact Us, and we’ll do our best to meet your timing needs.
For security reasons, we use plain outer packaging that does not reveal the contents of your package. Inside, your jewelry will be securely enclosed in an elegant box. Wherever possible, we ship your purchases in gently used recycled shipping boxes to help protect the environment.
Please contact us for special delivery arrangements if you wish to make your order a surprise. We generally ship USPS Priority Mail but can arrange UPS or expedited delivery.

Sales tax is applied based on the state where your order is shipped. Outside of New York, we only collect tax in states where we have an ongoing business presence or where tax regulations require it. Your final checkout will display any applicable sales tax for your location.

Yes! You can use your gift card online. You can also use your gift card at a show if it’s not a benefit for a charitable organization.
Argentium Silver
We primarily use Argentium silver because it is tarnish-resistant and has a brighter white finish than white gold, sterling silver, and platinum. It’s also hypoallergenic for most people.
Sterling Silver
We use some sterling silver in small amounts for clasps and sometimes chains. Sterling silver contains 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals such as copper.
Oxidized Silver
We apply a patina to some of our designs to create a blackish gray color that contrasts beautifully with gold and bright silver. The effect is known as oxidized silver.
Fine Silver
We use fine silver wire for much of our stitching. Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver and has virtually no alloys.
Bi-Metal
A layer of 22k gold is bonded with sterling silver to form a sheet of precious metal with 22k gold on one side and sterling silver on the other side. The gold will not wear off or chip away.
22k Solid Gold Wire
For our designs with gold stitching, we primarily use 22k, which is 91.7% gold. Occasionally we’ll use 18k gold for stitching, but not often.
Pearls
Most of the pieces in our Pearl Collection incorporate Chinese Freshwater Baroque pearls and Tahitian pearls, which vary from light to dark gray.
We offer three different sizes of bracelets/cuffs - Small, Medium, and Large.
Use the measurements below for guidance:
Small = 6" interior circumference
Medium = 6.5" interior circumference
Large - 7" interior circumference

Because we primarily use tarnish-resistant materials, caring for your Suzanne Schwartz Jewelry is easy.
Oxidized or Bright Sterling Silver, Argentium, and Gold
To clean your jewelry, lightly wash with cool soapy water. Allow to air dry, or dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth like a cotton t-shirt. Do not use a polishing cloth on your jewelry.
Non-Oxidized Metal: Use a soft toothbrush and gently wash with cool soapy water.
Oxidized Silver: Do not use any type of brush on oxidized (darkened) metal. Wash in ONLY cool soapy water (not warm or hot) using your fingers. Gently dry to avoid water spots.
Argentium Silver, Fine Silver, and Gold: These metals are highly tarnish resistant and require little maintenance. Just wear and enjoy them!
Tip: We love Dawn dishwashing liquid for cleaning all of your jewelry. It’s safe for pearls too!
Please do not sleep, shower, or swim while wearing your jewelry.
Like all jewelry, pearls can accumulate body oils or dirt over time from normal day-to-day wear.
Wash your pearl jewelry with gentle soap and water. Allow to air dry, or dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth like a cotton t-shirt.
Tip: We love Dawn dishwashing liquid for cleaning all of your jewelry. It’s safe for pearls too!
Avoid tangling the strands: Hold the necklace in front of you before putting it on, so it lays correctly around your neck.
Storage: When not wearing your multi-strand necklace, store it with both sides fastened with the clasp to ensure the chains do not tangle.
Travel: When traveling, roll your multi-strand necklace in tissue paper and gently place it inside the pouch.
Please do not sleep, shower, or swim while wearing your jewelry.
We do not recommend that you sleep in your jewelry. However, if you find it comfortable to sleep in it, do so at your discretion.
We recommend removing your jewelry when swimming in chlorine, the ocean, or showering. Hot water and chlorine can interact with the oxidized finish.
Returns
We want you to be delighted with your purchase, but in case something doesn't quite suit you, we accept returns and exchanges within seven days of receipt. All items must be in the original condition as shipped from our studio. The customer is responsible for shipping charges, including delivery confirmation and insurance. Please get in touch with us before returning any merchandise. Safely return your item for return shipping in the packaging it arrived in or the equivalent. Insure and track the package. If an item is not received, we won't be able to make the exchange or refund.Please note that one-of-a-kind and commissioned pieces are not eligible for return and any item received as a gift may only be exchanged. Holiday Return Policy
We want your holiday shopping to be stress-free! That’s why items purchased between November 15th and December 31st are eligible for a full refund to the original purchaser or store credit if returned by January 10th.

Refunds
Once your item has been received, we will contact you to let you know it has arrived and will refund the original form of payment or send a piece you have selected for exchange. Refunds are processed in 1 to 2 days. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We stand behind our work. If you notice a problem upon receiving your jewelry, be sure to get in touch with us immediately. Our workmanship and quality are essential to us. If something occurs to your jewelry related to the workmanship, please get in touch with us immediately so we can take care of it. Jewelry requires care and maintenance; please read our FAQ section or contact us to help you take care of your jewelry.
Please contact us before returning any merchandise. Safely return your item for return shipping, in the packaging it arrived in or the equivalent. Insure and track the package. If an item is not recieved we won't be able to make the exchange or refund.
